Mumbai Indians register thrilling win against Gujarat Lions on 29th April 2017 match which was decided in super over.

Gujarat Lions won the toss and elected to bat first at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot and scored 153 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Whereas Mumbai Indians played cheesing game and scored 153 runs in 20 overs by losing all the wickets and match got tied between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Lions.

As the match was tie it was opportunity to both the team to win in super over. Mumbai Indians batted first in super overs and scored 11 runs out of which Keiron Pollard scored 10 runs. Mumbai Indians lost 2 wickets in super over whereas Gujarat Lions scored only 6 runs with no loss of wickets.




Jasprit Bumrah bowled brilliant in super over and Mumbai Indians climbed the win against Gujarat Lions.




In first meeting Mumbai Indians defeated to Gujarat Lions by 6 wickets. By winning this match Mumbai Indians manage to retain in the second position of IPL 2017 points table.
