What Happened to Singer Sonu Nigam ?



Sonu Nigam became hero for his sudden reaction on fatwa of West Bengal Cleric, and some are criticizing Sonu twit regarding morning Azaan.

Sonu Nigam accepted open challenge of issued fatwa against him, he shaves his head and asked Rs. 10 lakh to the Cleric as he promised to reward Rs. 10 lakh to the person who will shaves off singer Sonu Nigam head.


Sonu Nigam said he decide to shave his head because he know where is he stand. Sonu Nigam is only against loudspeaker not to the any of religion but people are exploded on the twit of Sonu and criticizing him for the deed.

There are many people who taking it in funny way as Sonu Nigam accepted fatwa and went bald for his stance. Here are some funniest reactions :

Controversy increased against Bollywood Singer Sonu Nigam when he twitted about early morning Azaan, Sonu Nigam twitted that he is not a Muslim but due to morning Azaan he woke-up. According to Sonu Nigam it is a kind of annoying early morning.

He said, it is not necessary that mosque, temple and gurudwara would use loudspeakers. By the time Sonu Nigum twitted about Azaan some people took it seriously related to their religion.


In Bollywood, some are slams Sonu Nigam for his twit over Azaan like Wajid Khan, Pooja Bhat and Mika Singh. Whereas some are with Sonu Nigam like Anupamp Kher and some politicians.




Priyanka Chopra who never interrupt in Sonu Nigam controversy and commented but her name is involved equally to Sonu Nigam. Few years ago Priyanka Chopra said ” She feel very happy and peaceful when she hear Evening Azaan, by the time she finish her shoot in the evening and it was like meditation for her.

 People are very warm with Sonu Nigam, by tagging him with the video shared by Priyanka Copra and suggesting to learn from her.
Although, Sonu Nigam is still cleared and positive on his stand for the loudspeakers.

 If Sonu Nigam helps getting loudspeakers ban from Mosque, Temple and Gurudwara. He will be deemed as one of the greatest revolutionary person of this century.


Sonu Nigam shaved his head but he will not get Rs. 10 Lakh from Bengal cleric, Because as per Muslim cleric he is unhappy with Sonu Nigam statement and in demand of garland of old used shoes and parade him around entire India.


Muslim Cleric is in demand of rest two deed which he said, will be the time when he admit and provide reward of Rs. 10 Lakh to the person who will do this.

 Muslim  cleric name is Syed Sha Atef Ali, he is from West Bengal and Voice-President of West Bengal United Minority Council. There is lot happening over twitter, complete rush in twitter regarding this fatwa and the statement given by Singer Sonu Nigam.


 There are so many Muslim people who asked question to Sonu Nigam on his statement related to morning Azaan, but Sonu Nigam is clear with his stance that he is against loudspeakers not to religion. Of-course some people have reported uncomfortable with Azaan and loudspeakers used in Temples and Gurudwara.
